In My Mailbox Monday (5)

In My Mailbox (IMM) was started by The Story Siren a few years back, and is a great way for bloggers to give the books they are reading (or are planning to read) a quick mention. I have a bunch of good ones this week, and it pains me that I can't read faster!

AbandonAbandon
By Meg Cabot
Publisher: Scholastic
Publication Date: April 26th, 2011
Source: Purchase

I have been excited about this one for quite awhile! It's another story about the Underworld, but I bet it's 10x better than Falling Under.

FlipFlip

Publication Date: April 5th, 2011

This storyline is so intriguing to me. I just found out about this one a few weeks ago, and I think it's going to be good!

The Iron King (Harlequin Teen)The Iron King
By Julie Kagawa

A little late to the party with this one, I know...'ve been so disappointed the past few times I've read books about fey, that I skipped this when it came out. Then I heard great things, so I'm giving it a shot.

I know, I know! I can't believe I haven't read this book either. It just always gets pushed back, I guess.

I've been looking forward to this one!

  1. I can so relate - I wish I could read faster! I hope you like The Iron King... for me, I found the fey world a little overbearing in this one. I wish it focused more on the characters than the world itself. I enjoyed it but I was expecting to LOVE it. Maybe that was the problem! Here's my first IMM!

    Have a great week, Jen

Thanks for visiting my blog! I adore comments since they make me feel special and loved, just please don't spam me. I'm not interested in vacation offers, millions of dollars from Nigeria, or anything not book related!

Also, this is an award-free blog. As flattered as I am, I just don't have time. I'm happy if I have time to post all of my reviews on time, and am a momma of three to boot, but I appreciate the thoughts! XO
