In My Mailbox (22)

In My Mailbox (IMM) was started by The Story Siren a few years back, and is a great way for bloggers to give the books they are reading (or are planning to read) a quick mention.

I really enjoyed Stork's book, Marcelo In the Real World, so I was eagerly awaiting this one.  The story looks intriguing and his writing has so much depth and emotion.

This is the sequel to one of my favorite books of 2011, Across the Universe, and one of my most anticipated releases of 2012.  I can't wait to dig in, but I'm not going to until I have time to read it straight through...

This is the sequel to the 2011 debut, The Goddess Test.  I was really excited to see it pop up on NetGalley, and can't wait to read it.  Sadly, I'm being disciplined, and reading my advance copies in order of release date, so it will be awhile...

This is a 2012 debut and I am really excited for it.  Most mermaid stories of late portray mermaids as rather gentle creatures.  I love that these are sinister, murderous mermaids, obsessed with revenge.

Another very promising 2012 debut (I really think 2012 is going to be an epic year for debuts).  A great cover, and an AMAZING premise.  I'm having a hard time sticking to my resolution and not reading this ahead of other books...

Who DIDN'T buy this book this week?  We all know John Green is a freaking literary genius, and I have heard nothing but amazing things about this book in particular.  Another book that I have to wait to start until I have the time to finish in a sitting.  I can never put his books down.

Thanks for visiting my blog! I adore comments since they make me feel special and loved, just please don't spam me. I'm not interested in vacation offers, millions of dollars from Nigeria, or anything not book related!

Also, this is an award-free blog. As flattered as I am, I just don't have time. I'm happy if I have time to post all of my reviews on time, and am a momma of three to boot, but I appreciate the thoughts! XO
