To Authors and Publishers:
I appreciate you taking an interest in my blog and the possibility that I might review your book. I have a passion for reading and YA is my specialty. I love to share my opinions about what I read and I love that people care! Please keep in mind that all of my reviews are honest and sometimes I may not have nice things to say. I don't meet many books I don't like, but it does happen from time to time and I will not compromise my integrity for any reason.
I am accepting books for review, but I am rather selective as there is only so much time. I prefer bound books, but do accept eBooks (Kindle, .epub, or .pdf) and audiobooks. Feel free to contact me if you would like me to review something. If I don't respond, it likely means I am not interested, or it doesn't meet the criteria listed below.

I will accept a limited number of upper Middle Grade titles, provided they have crossover appeal. I will not read Adult titles. This is a YA book blog. I am not currently accepting any self-published works or works published through pay-to-print publishers like CreateSpace . If your book is part of a series, please be aware that if I haven't read the prior books, it is unlikely that I will want to invest the time to catch up, and I do not read series books out of order.
If I accept a book, I am not guaranteeing a review. I prioritize books I have requested first. I do my best to get through them all, but again, there's only so much time. I will likely not accept your book if I don't think I will be able to read it in the near future. If I don't think I will get to something I've accepted, I will pass it on to another book blogger or donate it to my local school or public library. If the book is an ARC I will review it in the time period surrounding its release (no more than a month prior, up to one month post-release). I can usually read a book in 1-3 days, but please remember that I may have several books in line before yours, so please give ample time.
Upon review I will email you a link to my post. I also post my reviews on Goodreads, Amazon, and Edelweiss. I may also send the review to local media and/or other blogs as a guest blogger. If I do, I will also send you a link to those outlets.
I love interviews, blog tours, and giveaways. If I request or accept a book from you, I would probably be willing to do any of the above, provided I'm given time to read the book beforehand.
Finally, as a member of the Media Selection Committee at my local middle school, I am happy to read (or have someone else on the committee read) age-appropriate (6th-8th grade) titles in consideration for our library. Please contact me for further information.
